Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking when our teeth look especially white. As we age, our teeth tend to darken and yellow, particularly if we use tobacco, drink coffee, red wine, or tea, or take certain medications. This process is nearly impossible to reverse without professional help.

We decided to offer the LumaCool© procedure as an additional service for clients who would like whiter, brighter smiles. Unlike do-it-yourself remedies that involve wearing gel-filled trays for several hours at a time, the LumaCool© process uses a special light to activate the whitening solution. The procedure has been thoroughly studied and safety tested. The entire process takes an hour, and is easy and pain free.

The technician will match your teeth to a sample of teeth shades and set your expectations of outcomes. A translucent tray is used which holds the teeth whitening solution (35% Carbamide Peroxide) and when placed in your mouth covers your upper and lower teeth similtaneously. You will be positioned under the LumaCool light for two 20-25 minute sessions. The light activates the peroxide and allows for penetration of the product. At the end of the process you will have a brighter, whiter smile! For those with more discoloration or yellowing of the teeth, a 3rd or 4th session can be done, however we suggest a week in between treatments.
